idkmybfforin: (Looking down)

((OOC: I don't think there will be any really awful injuries anyway; maybe some bruising or minor burns.))

The dragon's teeth caught feathers midway down one of her wings, soft ones that nonetheless tugged unpleasantly even as Utsuho shrieked, a birdlike, near-bellowing sound. She responded with a blast of intense heat and flickering flame, yanking her wing back until the feathers tore loose and let her backwing away out of reach. That hurt, leaving a visibly ragged patch and gap in the lower flight surface of her wing, she could still fly.

Talking was hard; fighting was easy. Simpler. Action-reaction-act again.

Did it not want to fly? Utsuho had a slight advantage in that she had already gained some height; she continued to climb after she had escaped, circling higher. More altitude, more speed, more damage when she dropped on that perceived weakness. The dragon seemed to be getting smaller the further up she went, surely squashing it would be easy.
