Though she didn't know anyone here and likely - hopefully, as far as the mission was concerned - no one knew here either, there was something familiar and comforting about it all. It was the game of high society, the names and quirks without being people but players, niceties and jabs and feeling about, who was here to use and be used, who was just partying and who was doing business. It didn't take long to figure out who might know something but not know enough to not talk about it.
