Shindou had only a split second to hit the floor as the blast whipped their way, flinging everything not bolted into the computer terminals straight for the far wall. Crouched behind a desk, he leaned around to look in the direction of their assailants. Some kind of cybernetics? Aqua appeared to have taken care of the one easily enough, but who knew how readily the one that had attacked the two of them would go down - or how many more of the things might be coming after it?

For now, chancing his power boost cutting off communication was still too risky, but they had to act fast.

"Rin, take care of the computer! We can handle this one - " he insisted, rising off the floor and bolting out in front of the second construct's path. If he could take its aim off Rin and the computer bank and distract it long enough for Aqua to take it down, maybe...?
