"You're bleeding." is the only response he gets from Jack. That's much more important than the fact that he doesn't know what exactly is upstairs. He knows he's going to kill them, though.

Actually, that thought isn't going to last until Beast Boy is on his feet. Jack is headed back up the stairs to put his wrench to good use.
