Toushirou is oddly detached from a lot of violence in general, but not having an actual kill count isn't something he's eager to change.
They're not quiet enough in their approach, and one of the attackers appears in the doorway suddenly. Damn speedsters. Toushirou manages to evade the fist that swings out for him, though; this jerk may be fast, but his aim stinks and Toushirou is a small target anyway. He ducks under it, and his first instinct is to kick at the guy's knee to send him off balance.
It doesn't connect, but the job is kind of done anyway; the U-Man hadn't been expecting the counter and needs to awkwardly dance out of the way. Hey, as long as the guy stumbles, right?
