Dick's thanking Bruce so much for convincing him to wear black pajamas. He's thanking Batman for thinking ahead to provide him with a black utility belt so it's not too obviously linked to Robin while he's here. He's not happy he's too far from his team or Gotham to get outside help, but you do what you got to do.

He's out in a flash and ninja-ing his way out of the boys dorms, flitting through the grounds to keep out of sight. If he spots anyone in trouble, he's there to help, flipping onto the enemy's back and electrocuting them with Robin's version of a taser (so much more effective) to knock them out if he can before checking on his allies.
