Movie night! [OPEN]
WHO: Everyone!
WHAT: As promised over the network, Dick's organised a movie night for students (and faculty) in one of the classrooms.
WHEN: 1st November, evening
WHERE: School classroom generously volunteered by one of the staff
WARNINGS: Teens? Snacks? Movies? Things should be tame but you never know!
With help, Dick's managed to get all the furniture in the classroom stacked up against one wall, the cleared floorspace now covered in beanbags from the library, pillows, blankets, even the odd mattress here and there. Some tables have been lined up against another wall to fill with snacks and drinks brought by everyone, ranging from leftover sweets gathered the night before to fresh hot pizza, steaming away in the open cartons. Volunteering chaperones Zian, Booker and Feliks might have their hands full with all these kids, but at least the food's good!
Before the movie watching starts, the students gather round with the DVDs and Blu-rays they've brought, voting on which ones they want to see and which ones can be sadly put awayfor another night. Once that's done, straws are drawn to pick viewing order, and it's set.
The lights dim, let the movie watching begin!
((OOC: This is an open mingle log for all players to just come in and have fun.))

Ostensibly, Feliks is here as a legally-adult, kinda-semi-teacher-ish chaperone, but let's be honest -- he's here for the sweets and the comedy movies, romantic and otherwise.
Half of them, he's already seen, but that doesn't seem to bother him. He's sprawled out, taking up more of a sofa than someone as tiny as him has even the remotest right to, with a little hoard of snacks tucked into a bowl that he brought with him specifically for snack-hoarding purposes, laughing too loud and reciting along with the best lines and occasionally blushing when the male leads are particularly dreamy in the rom-coms. Take him away from all this, Young Dreamboat Heath Ledger!
[B - Horror option]
At some point in the evening, the horror flicks start. Feliks sticks around, because wow, what kind of loser can't handle a little scary movie, right? He's totally not scared!
He's... totally not.
He's just behind the nearest person (friend or stranger)'s shoulder because, like, he wanted to get a better look at their shirt, ok?
"{Sweet blessed mother of Christ -- you saw that, right? It moved, Jesus, why are we watching this?!}"
Any non-Polish speakers can just, like, figure out what he was saying from the context or whatever.

The medic had left both some fun classics and some new action movies to the kid in charge, so all he had to do now was make sure that nobody made a fuss or started fights... or ate too much food. Sharing was caring and all that.

Alex managed to secure one of the beanbag chairs for himself. He's mostly indifferent to just which movies they end up watching, but he'd be lying if he denied a certain degree of nostalgia when they put in a Disney film. Armed with a large bowl of popcorn, he settled deeper into the beanbag chair, legs stretched out in front of him.
[B - romcom]
Romcoms weren't really Alex's thing. But Sabina loved them and liked forcing him to watch them with her. So he'd already seen the one they're watching, and really, he didn't think it's a half bad movie. It's one of Sabina's favourites, and thus he'd seen it about three times.
Plus, it's always kind of fun watching some other guy muddle through his love life and make a complete arse of himself.
"That's right, you prat. You really screwed that up."

Rinka hadn't seen most of the movies they were watching tonight. And while her English was more or less okay and having subtitles helped a little, sometimes the dialogue was too quick or used a word she just didn't know. So somewhere around the middle, Rinka lost the plot completely. Confused, she glanced the person sitting nearest to her.
"What just happened?"
[b - animated]
Okay, she'd seen the Disney film before, only dubbed into Japanese. So while watching it in English was a little different, she at least knew what was going on 100%. Or so she thought. She was definitely noticing some translation differences and it showed on her face.

The clone, looking and acting exactly like Eli, was wearing a Sundress made with an ocean theme, so sand and shells against waves of white and a multitude of blues. She had tied her long hair back in a ribbon of the same blues that was tipped in white, like pounding surf.
She came into the back of the room, doing her best to not look hesitant. Unfortunately, her best wasn't perfect. She came into the room near the back, soon after one of the movies had started. She had no clue if it was the first, and no way to find a seat without drawing attention to herself.
Eli-clone hesitated in the doorway. Maybe she should just leave. But she was so desperately lonely....
