Come What May [OPEN!]
WHO: Fai, Feliks, and anyone and everyone!
WHAT: Mr. Feliks Łukasiewicz and Mr. Fai Flourite, together with their families, have requested the honor of your presence at their wedding!
WHERE: In and around the Institute!
WHEN: Backdated to April 7th.
WARNING(S): Alcohol use among the mostly-responsible adults, potentially lethal concentrations of fierceness. If anything unexpected happens, put it in the subject lines!

The last six years dragged and dragged, and the last six weeks have been such a rush.
Getting everything put together on such short notice has involved pulling a number of strings, a nearly impossible amount of free time, and an amount of money that Feliks would rather not even talk about, but when the big day dawns bright and clear, there's no time to worry about any of that. All morning, there's a bustle of activity as the decorations are set up and a small legion of Polish and Italian aunts occupy the kitchen -- it'd be pretty hard to miss all the commotion if you tried.
The ceremony is in the afternoon, with the reception stretching into the evening. Everyone is invited, and the dress code is "be fabulous." So, what are you all waiting for?
[OOC: Will put up headers for different parts of the party. Feel free to use this as a mingle opportunity!]

[ He is about to say something else, but catches himself before another sentence slips out. This is Feliks' big day, after all... ]
I can attempt it, but I am not very good, so I apologize in advance.

[Anyway, isn't it all about enthusiasm, anyway? Feliks definitely has enough of that to go around, as he holds out his hand for the other man, all but bouncing in place with the excitement that's been building up in him all day.]

Alright, then. How shall we do it?
[ He sets his glass down on a nearby table and takes Feliks' hands - hesitantly, but enough to show that he intends to take this seriously. ]

You're in luck, looks like the next one's a waltz. That's way simple.
You wanna lead, or be the girl?
[Yes, he's asking that in his floor-length, sparkling dress, with his makeup on.]
no subject
I'll lead, if you don't mind.
[ Luckily his old dance classes from university days aren't forgotten completely - he tilts his head to one side while getting a grasp of the beat, letting the rhythm settle in his mind. ]
Ready? On three. One, two, three.
[ He's not as proficient to not need this sort of thing, sorry Feliks. But at least he can dance reasonably well to not break his stride. His expression is still a little pinched, if anything, but at least he's trying? ]

[It's hard not to be taller next to Feliks. He gives an acquiescent little gesture, a joking half-curtsy, and settles into position with his hand on the other man's shoulder.]
See, this isn't so hard!

I see. [ He's beginning to relax a little. ] Ah, I can see why people enjoy it.
[ But it still isn't something he'd do voluntarily, though. ]
no subject
I know, right? Like, who would have guessed people do it 'cause it's fun?
no subject
I've rarely been invited to these things. But it is nice to see people enjoy themselves.

[He just dances along, happy enough to follow even though he's pretty sure he's got a lot more experience.]
I'm way glad so many people could make it.

Thank you, for inviting me.
[ It feels nice to be... well. To be appreciated enough to be invited to these things. ]
