"There is... a library?" he asked, eyes shading to gold, still dull, however. Schools had libraries? Now that the boy had said it, he vaguely thought he recalled reading about that, but it had never been a part of his life, and had not stuck with him. So... libraries weren't just for homes? He had long since finished all the interesting books in the library, but he could reread something. It did not even occur to him that different libraries would have different books. Then the other thing said caught up to him. "Book.... club?" he asked. Why would someone use a book as a club? It didn't seem like a useful weapon, not that he had much experience with weapons in general.
