Say Yes to the Dress [CLOSED]
WHO: Amelia and Maddie
WHAT: Dress shopping, pretending to be lesbians
WHERE: A bridal boutique in New York City
WHEN: Thursday afternoon
WARNING(S): Amelia is there
[Amelia had never been one of those girls who dreamed about her perfect wedding, that much was obvious. She had always wondered what it was like to wear one of those big floofy dresses, though. And since she didn't really hear wedding bells in her future, shopping with Maddie seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Truth be told, she still had pretty mixed feelings on the whole thing. Commitment made her itch, and even though Kaito had grown on her over the past years, she still couldn't shake the feeling that Maddie could do better. Obviously Maddie didn't think so, and nothing would really change just because of a piece of paper-- Amelia still felt like it was an awfully big step. Like a turning point in becoming an adult. Next thing you know they would be popping out babies and talking about school districts and whatever the hell else adults do. She's not crazy about it.]
[But for now, she linked her arm with Maddie's and practically dragged her into the little shop. This part was going to be fun.]
Glad you could make it, darling.

Wouldn't miss it for the world, dear.

Woooooow, swanky! We're like queens here, Maddie.

I think that's the point Melia. To feel special.

[She raises an eyebrow and looks at some of the more...subdued dresses first] Disco ball. No thank you.

I think I'd look great as a disco ball.

Be a disco ball. It's not like we're matching.

I might need you to get the back. [Small delicate movements to pulling this up. She doesn't need to pay for a torn wedding dress on top of a real one]

God... you're so pretty.

[But she's blushing and looking at herself in the mirror. She pulls her hair up and back to see how it looks]

No, I mean it!
