Alric gave him a brief, penetrating look, apparently not completely convinced of just how ready he was... but he nodded. Not really his decision to make, after all, but he'd be keeping an eye on this new arrival. He smiled politely, with just a hint of something stern under it.

"Mm. If you're sure. Probably best you don't overdo it on your first day, though." Just a brief pause to change gears. "And... yes, if you like, I can show you the residential wing, first. We can put your things in my room until you're ready to pick them up, if that's all right with you."
