Wandering the halls for the past week or so, students may have noticed a series of flyers posted in strategic locations around the school.

Join the Paranormal Investigation Club!

Do you like ghost stories, rumors of the weird and unnatural? Spooky things in general? The Paranormal Investigation Club is recruiting new members! Feel free to stop by and check us out!

The fliers are relatively plain, but they have the date, room number, and a lovely little doodle of Yuuko on them. Before getting to the room, you'll likely hear some almost cliche haunted house style sound effects playing. The room itself isn't decorated too much. There's a couple of couches, a table with refreshments set up, and there's a few decorations lying about, like a model skull, some Japanese talismans, and a few other things. There's also a sign-up sheet on the table too.

While Aki is visible, Yuuko...isn't. But if you keep an eye out, it's not hard to figure out where she is when she's moving things around. A club about ghosts has to have a ghostly president, right? Drop right in and say hello! Or take advantage of the refreshments.

[ .. okay, well, that's a nifty trick, at least.. Although Natsuno is slowly getting used to being around other mutants more, so it's not like he's super surprised by it or anything. It's more just that he blinks in surprise for a moment before telling himself she must have some sort of invisibility trick or something and shakes it off. ]

Why?

[ Usually he'd give a slightly more sarcastic response, but.. well, congratulations, Yuuko. You managed to catch him off guard a little bit. ]

[That's part of it! It's actually pretty common that she catches people off guard, unsurprisingly. She tilts her head a bit at his response, but she puts on a smile nonetheless.]

Usually people say you shouldn't answer a question with another question.

[ Of course a sourpuss like him is going to point that out right here and now, his nose wrinkling a little as he ~~pouts~~ frowns slightly. This is why he doesn't go out and socialise, he doesn't know how to.. people.. ]

Anyway, I didn't come here to smile. Is this the smiles club now?

I guess you don't have a good reason why not, then.

[Don't worry, Yuuko will try to help!]

What's wrong with smiling? Turn that frown upside down! [Or she might try to.]

[ Natsuno - completely unaware of the danger that might be Yuuko attempting it instead - just keeps the same completely unamused look on his face. Oh, if only you'd have known better, Natsuno.. ]

There's nothing wrong with it. I just need a reason to do so. [ And those reasons are really few.. in fact, the main reason is dead by now, so. Whoops. ]

[She doesn't like seeing people down or grumpy or anything like that.]

A reason, hm?~

[That little sparkle of mischief in her eyes should've been warning enough that she'll give him a reason to smile! And that reason happens to be her reaching up and attempting to use her fingers to push his face into a smile!]

[ For a moment he stares, as if he doesn't realise what's going on..

.. but then she tugs on the corners of his mouth like that, and yeah, he realises fully well what she's trying to do. It ends up with him looking pretty exasperated, but then it slowly shifts into embarrassment (this guy is the worst when it comes to personal contact) and he tries to bat her hands away. ]

Stop that..!

[At least she tried. She has no problems invading people's personal space. She pouts when her hands are batted away. That's no fun!]

Aww...

[ God. Women. This is why he'll never understand them, although he at least lets out a breath and tries to calm down once she stops touching him.. he doesn't want to look too embarrassing here, after all. ]

Don't invade people's personal space like that. It's creepy.

[It can be hard to understand Yuuko anyway. She's just gonna continue pouting. What's with this guy?]

Then smiiiiiile. It's good for you.

Have you ever heard of a sick person who got better thanks to smiling?

[ At least she's a lot less weird now.. her powers make her seem a little like a ghost and all, but she's one of those weirdly sociable types who think they just can tell others what to do, he figures. Pretty normal in that sense, considering how many of those types he's had to deal with before. ]

No, but a smile can't hurt.

[She just tries to keep a positive outlook on life. Anything that isn't positive she just tries to either make positive or pretend it doesn't exist.]

[ He rubs the corners of his mouth a little, almost as if he's afraid she'll start tugging on them again any moment now. ]

I guess you'll just have to get used to my lack of smile then. [ Especially since he did sign up for the club just now in the other thread with Aki.. good life decisions right there, party pooper. ]

[Noooo, he foiled her plans.]

I'm glad you at least managed to notice that much.

[ SHE'S SO HOPEFUL, WHY... he doesn't know how to deal with these kind of people at all. ]

You seem like you're pretty confident in your ability to do so. [ Whereas he doesn't seem a single bit confident in it, if his tone is anything to go by.. ]

[He'll have to learn sooner or later!]

I am! [Don't doubt her. If she can't make him smile, she'll just end up embarrassing him somehow.]

[ Yuuko, why.. this is not how he wants to live his life!! ]

Then perhaps we'll see which of us gives in first. [ His tone indicates that he does not think he will be the one to give in at all.. he's faced worse opponents!! Or so he thinks, anyway. ]
