Wandering the halls for the past week or so, students may have noticed a series of flyers posted in strategic locations around the school.

Join the Paranormal Investigation Club!

Do you like ghost stories, rumors of the weird and unnatural? Spooky things in general? The Paranormal Investigation Club is recruiting new members! Feel free to stop by and check us out!

The fliers are relatively plain, but they have the date, room number, and a lovely little doodle of Yuuko on them. Before getting to the room, you'll likely hear some almost cliche haunted house style sound effects playing. The room itself isn't decorated too much. There's a couple of couches, a table with refreshments set up, and there's a few decorations lying about, like a model skull, some Japanese talismans, and a few other things. There's also a sign-up sheet on the table too.

While Aki is visible, Yuuko...isn't. But if you keep an eye out, it's not hard to figure out where she is when she's moving things around. A club about ghosts has to have a ghostly president, right? Drop right in and say hello! Or take advantage of the refreshments.

Yuuko's own interest was inspired by herself. Spending two years believing you're a ghost will do that to you. She honestly didn't think very many other people would be interested in something like this.

The music and gaudy decor was pretty much just for show. They had to have something to draw attention to it!

Yuuko just sort of materializes in front of the other girl. "We investigate things that seem paranormal in nature!"

Oh, well that just happened. Nowadays, there was no telling what a mutant could do. The knowledge that someone could just appear in front of her like that, it was expected in this day and age. Even more so considering the setting she was in.

"Like what?"

She had an interest, yes. But Raven still wanted to know more before settling on an answer.

"Like ghosts and things like that!" Sure, there were plenty of mutants who might have abilities similar to her own or able to do things that might be attributed to the paranormal, but surely there was some truth to some stories and rumors, right?

[loveswaffles]

"You really believe in that?" Granted, the club itself would've told her that much, Raven just wanted to hear it from her mouth. The fact today that people still believed in that with all sorts of mutants out in the world...

"In ghosts and spirits?"

Yuuko tries to keep a positive outlook on just about everything. "Why wouldn't I? Do you not believe in them?"

[loveswaffles]

"I believe that there's more than just humans and mutants in the world. Something that we can't easily see, or understand." Simple as that.

"There has to be something else. I don't think everything can be attributed to mutants." At least they're sort of on the same page.

[loveswaffles]

It's this kind of exchange that has Raven thinking better about the club in general. "So... how does someone join?" There was no harm in asking, right? And it would be useful to know, just in case.

While Yuuko's really just in it for fun, that doesn't mean she doesn't take it at least somewhat seriously. "You just sign that sheet of paper right over there!~"

Raven's eyes go to the item in question. She actually gives it a little more thought until eventually writing down her name on the paper. Well, she puts down "Raven" as her signature. Anyways, there, the deed has been done.

"I'm just going to see what it's like." She says, as it needing to validate her actions.

Yuuko's pleased enough that they've gotten another new member for the club. She doesn't really care if anyone else might be a bit abrasive or anything. She's sure they'll warm up in time.

"It's gonna be great, you'll see."

[loveswaffles]

"So... What days and time are the meetings held on?" If she's going through with this, she would at least like to know that much.

[vanishingdusk]

"We don't have any true schedule right now. Not until we have a proper clubroom. So in the meantime, One of us will just shoot every member a message a day in advance for meetings." It's a start, at least. On the bright side, she's already found a great potential meeting place.

[loveswaffles]

"That's fine. This is the only club I've joined so far." So it wasn't like she had too many after-class activities to busy herself with. Unless going to the library counted.

"Great! I think it'd be tough to keep track of more than one." It could be fun though, too. But she'll stick with just this one, because now she has other people to enjoy it with.
