However, the Mutant Liberation Front, or at least hackers claiming to be them, have seemingly hijacked the movement on several social media sites, using the hashtag while "doxxing", defined as "sharing the private personal information of an individual or group, anyone that has publicly spoken out against mutants. The internet has become a battleground like any city street..."

"... special diplomat Haller faced many questions arriving back in the United States today. She has stated she had no comments on Genosha's threat of war against the US. President Kelly's diplomatic relations with Genosha have largely been criticized as failures, and many in congress and in the public in general seem to be in favor of preparing for the inevitable..."

"... Reverend William Stryker, uncle to the late Donovan Zane, has lead a vigil lasting several days now on the steps of Congress and refuses to be moved until Mutant Registration has been passed. Volunteers are urging everyone in District X to be extra careful as the season progresses, to regularly visit the shelters and soup kitchens, and to not try to brave the winter storms alone. They have also put out a mass call to anyone willing to help out, with food, blankets, and/or warm clothing..."

"... a nation on the brink of war. President Kelly addressed the nation saying that 2019 will not be a repeat of historical mistakes or tragedies. He says he refuses to believe the spirit of the American people are so willing to give in to bigotry and surrender to what is perceived as an inevitable war with Genosha. It can be stopped, he urged. He said we all have to look at ourselves and find the courage to do the right thing and love our fellow person, no matter what the circumstances. President Kelly continues to believe in his vision of hope for humans and mutants..."

[Naija can be found outside, singing at the ice to break up the biggest chunks, shattering its crystaline structure. Just hope she doesn't break something important in the process.]

-With build in resistance to the cold, 'Shadow' was one of the few students who didn't really mind being outside in the deeper cold. After all, in the mountain town she was used to, it got way colder than this... And she found herself watching Naija work with rather rapt fascination.-

[Neither did she, judging from her clothing, more suitable to summer. Ostensibly she was clearing it away so people could get places without clumsily falling over. But really, Naija took genuine joy in using her power. She stopped when she heard something over her singing and turned towards the source of it.]

-Okay, logically, that shouldn't have spooked her, but instincts took over and she immediately dived behind the nearest snowy bush.-

[And instinct took over for her too. She immediately crouched and sprung after the source of the sound, a pleased rumble in her throat. Finally, some fun!]

-Kagerou kept herself low, peering through the bushes. She didn't take up a wolfen form, not yet. She mostly just watched and waited.-

[Naija put her ear literally to the ground. After some waiting, she abruptly turned towards Kagerou, crouched, and lept towards her for a Hobbes-esque tackle]

-Kagerou flashed into her wolf form and leapt to the side to dodge, barking.-

[Naija landed on all fours, crouched on her powerful haunches. Most of her clumsiness while walking was abruptly gone. She was grinning madly now, pleased by this abrupt development and ready to play, although whether poor Kagerou would take it that way...Well, she lept after her again, trying to correct her trajectory a bit better this time.]

-Another roll to the side, sticking low to the ground with her hips raised and tail wagging. No, this was definitely a game now. Finally someone to play in the snow with!

She danced about before returning to her stance, daring Naija to come and get her.-

[Naija faked right, lept left, and tried to go sailing over her, twisting in midair, hoping to catch her from behind with her palm around her ribs]

-A sound strategy! Save, of course, for all the snow Kagerou began to immediately kick up in an effort to get away.-

[Pfah! It's everywhere! Naija reached out blindly as she began coming down, hoping to catch her anyway.]

-Kagerou thinks herself clever as she dashed away... only for Naijia to grab her tail, prompting a yelp from the poor wolf. It was an accident, sure, but it still hurt.-

[Naija hit the ground rolling, letting Kagerou's tail go as she did. She came up facing her, not apologizing (still grinning, actually) but giving her a moment to simmer down if the pain had caused her to catch feelings.]

-The pain didn't last, but Kagerou saw her opportunity for revenge and pounced after not even a second, letting out a play growl as she did so.-

[Naija kept rolling, instinctually hooking her clawed, flippered feet into the wolf's hip and trying to launch her over her head]

-Well that didn't work out for her. Kagerou sailed ass over head and crashing into a snow bank.-

[She came up, and with one more leap, tried to pin her to the snow as she landed]

-With no place left to escape, Kagerou was aught and pinned, whining as she transitioned back to her humanoid form.- No fair...

[Naija instinctually gave her a very light nip at the shoulder before sitting back, allowing her to get up. It took a few seconds for her to transition back from that wordless place of pure physicality.]

Not...fair? I do...do not walk usually on land. Who is 'not fair'?

Well... I guess it is kind of fair if you put it like that. -She was just pouty because she 'lost'. And didn't even seem to mind that nip. Why would it be weird to her, after all?-

[There is absolutely nothing weird about pinning a stranger to the ground and biting their shoulder. These are very normal people.]

You still did good. Maybe next time you will catch me instead.

I hope so... None of my friends like to play in the snow.

How boring! [Hers don't either. They don't have weirdo metabolisms.] I will come out here and play then. But when it thaws you need to come to the lake. It gets lonely down there. [What is emotional guardedness?]
