However, the Mutant Liberation Front, or at least hackers claiming to be them, have seemingly hijacked the movement on several social media sites, using the hashtag while "doxxing", defined as "sharing the private personal information of an individual or group, anyone that has publicly spoken out against mutants. The internet has become a battleground like any city street..."

... Not exactly. I suspect the director knows, but he has kept quite about it.

[ He shakes his head slightly before continuing. ]

I do have a certain level of expertise without having to use my powers, my hydrokinesis merely boosts my awareness further. I have not yet been outed publicly, and it is quite important to maintain that.

[ That is something he has learned and adhered to for the past two decades. ]

The director is human, or at least he seems to be. Perhaps he is in a similar situation as I.

I get you. Just wondering why the mutants want you. Good karma, maybe?

[He makes that deep-breath-wheeze that passes for his kind of a laugh.]

...and maybe. Either way, I'm happy you can help so many people. Mutant or human.

[He wants that, too - and he tries, so hard.]

[ Takakage returns the laugh with his own chuckle - the sound clear and crystalline. ]

Likewise. If we both do our best, we can help more people. [ He takes a sip of his tea at this point. ] But - take care, alright? If we overwork ourselves, who will be there to take our places?

[ Of course, they're most probably going to be hypocrites and eventually pass out from exhaustion. But at least there was An Attempt, right? ]

I'll try not to... but I can't just let people suffer, either.

[Zian will end up snoring in the nurse's office until someone knocks.]

I know. I suppose we'll just have to judge for ourselves.

[ It's very much a dilemma, but what can they do about it?

Takakage resigns himself to finishing up his tea at this point. If Zian wanted to mention something, now would be the time. ]

[He watches Takakage finish his tea and gives the man a small wave.]

[ He gets up to clean the cup at the sink before replacing it on the drying rack. ]
