Hellfire Club: The Mission [CLOSED]

WHAT: The Hellfire Club infiltration mission
WHERE: Manhattan
WHEN: Late evening

Team One was already on the ground, infiltrating the party. The rest waited in silence aboard the Blackbird, hovering in complete stealth mode high above the island. Back at the Institute, Professor X closely monitored the communications of the team, ready to give the signal when ready...

It was go time.

[[ OKAY HERE'S HOW IT'S GOING TO GO.

Top levels will be going up for each mission phase. Each phase will, OOCly, go on simultaneously so no one has to wait for another team to complete their task. Players have freedom to play as they like, but the mod characters in each team (Feliks, Shindou, Reimu) will most likely lead the action in the direction it's intended to go. The mod account will pop in for NPCing every now and again.

"Toyosatomimi, Miko Toyosatomimi of the Toyosatomimi group," even if it was mostly more known in Japan, they still did lots of international business. "It's about time I made more appearances, since I'm at an age now."

The young woman tilted her head thoughtfully, as if trying to recall, then suddenly perked right up.

"That's right -- you do a lot of business with Miyabi Inc., right? I was there to do a little networking with them a couple of years ago."

She offered her hand. "Grace O'Neill. Tidewater Holdings."

"Of course," and lots of others. "That must be where we met! My, I must apologize for not realizing sooner."

Miko took the offered hand and shook it, almost tempted to kiss it like the woman was a princess but currently a more business approach was better.

"A pleasure to see you again Miss O'Neill."

"It's all right -- I don't think I actually got around to introducing myself last time, it was an awfully crowded party!"

She had a firmer, more professional handshake than her demeanor would have suggested.

"So, is anything special bringing you to New York?"

"Oh it seemed about time that I make the predictable rounds, a coming out so to say. Rather routine for an upcoming heir, and what better place to start the international stage than the great city of New York?"

She nodded, still bright and agreeable.

"That makes sense. Well, welcome!"

"By the way, is there anything particularly interesting going on in the city? I would hate to have come all the way here and only have what everyone else can easily do."

The young woman looked out over the crowd, her look of idle thoughtfulness slightly belied by a hint of calculation in her eyes.

"There might be. Things usually get pretty interesting around here, if you stick around and keep your eyes open..."
