Let it snow [CLOSED]
WHO: Meulin, Rhia
WHAT: Meulin meeting her roommate
WHERE: Meulin's room
WHEN: Backdated to Early January
WARNING(S): None so far
Well the first thing Meulin noticed that morning was that she was cold. Incredibly cold, like the world outside was suddenly inside and--was that snow on her blanket? She sat up and blinked at the snow very clearly swirled in patterns on her floor and the open window. Refusing to get out of bed to close said window quite yet, she shimmied down to the footboard and reached as far as she could for a thick sweater and some slipper. The slippers were layered with socks and she finally put her feet on the ice cold floor.
"Freezing--shish kabobs--come on." She muttered, skidding to a stop before the window. Huh. Was that branch in her window before? She gently bent it back to close the window and turned to survey the snow on her poor floor. She'd need to get a broom.
It doesn't really occur to her that someone opening the window might be a problem or that someone who used it to get out might be a bit trapped when they try to get back in. What DOES occur to her is she might have a roommate who has decidedly different opinions about windows and winter.

"They open from the inside but I think you could open them from the outside. They slide open and you can let the breeze in when it's nice outside? And they're made of glass."
She gestures, making a square and then gestures toward the floor where it's all still scattered.
