xavier_institute_logs | A Sinister Legacy [PART 2] [OPEN]

WHO: Students and faculty of the Institute, plus some unfortunate SHIELD agents caught in the crossfire
WHAT: Sinster did something, ah... sinister... to Martha, and now the school security systems are attacking anyone and everyone that might interfere with his um... sinister... plans.
WHERE: The Institute
WHEN: STILL ON THE 25TH. TRUST US.

As a reminder, there are THREE ways to be involved with this event:

1. Help the SHIELD agents on the front lawn survive against the school security systems! This will be combat heavy and will involve NPC assists from Nick Fury

2. Help protect other students, and those who can't fight, get to safe places! Not every section of the school is as automated as others and there are places that Sinister's infection of the security systems hasn't reached. This can be combat heavy or not at all, and will involve NPC assists from Storm

3. HELLIONS your girl No Girl needs help. Also the Professor and Logan. Your job is to head to the sublevels and break in to the most heavily secured area of the school and stop whatever is causing things to go haywire, and possibly stop Sinister himself from whatever he has planned. As usual, you will be assisted by Emma.

[Tenma didn't want to see Renko off. He tried to play soccer, but the debacle still weighed heavily on his mind. He couldn't concentrate and that would make soccer cry. He was already back inside texting his team members to meet in some lounge before the SHIELD agents arrived. If they were going to be stuck inside, they might as well do some more team bonding and strategizing.

Aqua had been coming in to check on the team when it all went so terribly terribly wrong.

Her face grew grim and serious, and she looked to Tenma. "Get the team together, stay in here, I need you to form a Triage unit. I'm going out to look for anyone who is injured, or in distress and bring them down. I need you guys to see who is hurt, and get them to the medical area, who is shocky - those people should be brought to sofas, talk to them gently, try to help them come back to themselves."

"Anyone else who is capable, get them to help. And the little kids... keep them inside, keep them safe."

She looked at him seriously. "This is a lot of responsibility. Can you guys handle it?"

"I--I already mailed them!" He managed to gasp out in response. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, taking it all in. He wasn't going to let it get to the point it had when the U-Men attacked. Never again.

"We can handle it."

The answer was surprisingly calm, but he made up his mind. There was no time for doubts, no time to second-guess what he was capable of. He trusted his teammates, and that was enough for him to lead them.

"...mail?" she asked, confused and distracted. Then she blinked then realized what he must have meant. "Email? Alright. She kissed his forehead. "You can do this. I know you can. I'll be back in as often as I can, bringing people in. If you need me, just wait tight, or if you have to call my phone. Do not come after me, stay and help keep everyone here safe. Alright?"

Tenma whined again when Aqua kissed his forehead.

"Please don't do that..." He muttered quietly, suddenly interested in what's on the floor, but nodded in affirmation.

She wanted to address that but... now was not the time. "We'll talk when things calm down," she promised him, then headed out to help, trusting her team to do as she asked and to take care of the people inside.

She dashed out to bring them people to take care of.

[It's not more than a couple minutes after Aqua's finished giving Tenma instructions and headed back out that Ken dashes into the lounge and skids to a halt, grabbing on the arm of the nearest sofa to stop himself.

(He had been coming at a slightly more reasonable pace, before everything started going to hell outside.)]

[Tenma goes over to Ken and steadies him]

Ken! Miss Wayfinder wants us to help everyone get to safety!

Is in here going to stay safe, do you think?

[He can get behind getting people to safety...but when nobody's quite sure what's happening, it's hard not to be concerned.]

Yeah, it's better than out there. There's going to be a lot of people in the nurse's office to keep them safe for sure.

Aqua came to where her team was waiting for triage. She was holding a child in one arm, curled up against her chest, her Keyblade in the other hand. "First one for you guys to help. Once she's up to it, she said she wants to help as well. If she can, please let her. We'll need all the help we can get in here. So long as all of you stay indoors."

Said child opened her eyes and glanced about with wide eyes. She wasn't sure if she knew who all was there or not but at the very least, is was safe here. Kisume nodded her agreement with Aqua's statement about her helping. Of course as she uncurled a bit, her hand didn't leave her side, where she had been shot trying to get away from the chaos but still.

"Can help. Can fight or things."

[Tenma notices the blood on the girl's side, staining her hand and clothing. He bit his lip, wishing he hadn't left his first aid kit in his room.]

Okay, but the doctor has to say okay first...

[He looks directly at Kisume and offers a hand to her free one]

Let's get you bandaged first.

Aqua set her down very gently. "Triage," she said softly, then gave her team a warm smile. "I leave her in your care."

With that, she vanished the keyblade, turned, and headed back out to help more people in need.
