A Sinister Legacy [PART 2] [OPEN]

WHO: Students and faculty of the Institute, plus some unfortunate SHIELD agents caught in the crossfire
WHAT: Sinster did something, ah... sinister... to Martha, and now the school security systems are attacking anyone and everyone that might interfere with his um... sinister... plans.
WHERE: The Institute
WHEN: STILL ON THE 25TH. TRUST US.
WARNING(S): Violence hooooo

As a reminder, there are THREE ways to be involved with this event:

1. Help the SHIELD agents on the front lawn survive against the school security systems! This will be combat heavy and will involve NPC assists from Nick Fury

2. Help protect other students, and those who can't fight, get to safe places! Not every section of the school is as automated as others and there are places that Sinister's infection of the security systems hasn't reached. This can be combat heavy or not at all, and will involve NPC assists from Storm

3. HELLIONS your girl No Girl needs help. Also the Professor and Logan. Your job is to head to the sublevels and break in to the most heavily secured area of the school and stop whatever is causing things to go haywire, and possibly stop Sinister himself from whatever he has planned. As usual, you will be assisted by Emma.

[The projectile passed cleanly through Eren's shoulder, moments before, and he's bleeding heavily, his shirt soaked. Another one winged him, cutting into his leg. It's painful, but he knows it won't be long before he's healed. His rebellious body always recovers from its damage.

He shakes his head, stumbling forward, toward danger instead of away from it. He'd try to wave Luvander away, but his arm doesn't work that well yet.]

No—I'm fine. Have to—keep going.

[Eren really looks like hell, and despite his words, Luvander reaches out and touches the back of his neck. Bastion, he feels like he's running three separate fevers all at once - but he can feel Eren's flesh knitting back together, healing itself.

Healing factor aside, the damn silly fool doesn't look like someone who should be left on his own right now. The next time a canon swings itself around to take aim on him, Luvander shoulders him aside for a moment to fire two bullets very neatly into its wiring. That... causes it to start firing at the same spot repeatedly, but at least it's not aiming anymore - the next shot only grazes Luvander's arm as he hastily gets out of the way.]

Could you at least try not to get hurt? You're a mess.

[Eren gives a start when Luvander touches him, turning back over his shoulder to look at him.]

I'm not... worried about myself!

[Eren forces these words out as if he's been insulted, when really he's just not thinking very clearly.

Using his power so much is stressing him mentally as well as physically. He still hasn't adapted to the very idea of having a mutation, and seeing it work always alienates him—and disgusts him a little. He's also not immune to pain, even if he can keep healing, but he tries to fight through it. He doesn't know how he can die, but he's sure there's some way to kill him. But he really isn't concerned about that.]
