New Arrival~ [Backdated to earlier in the evening
WHO: Jarvis and Open
WHAT: Arriving at the school
WHERE: Courtyard and Main Entrance
WHEN: Early evening October 27th
WARNING(S): None
This was it.
Jarvis looked up at the large mansion – even larger than the one in Malibu (but smaller than the Tower in New York City that was undergoing repairs) – that was to be his new home for the rest of his education years. A place for people like him, and Tony had shown him the information he had gathered on the Institute. Tony hadn't been happy about sending Jarvis off to boarding school, but his education needed to be finished before he could apply to college or just further his career and experiences back in California.
A dust cloud formed up as the taxi started off, leaving Jarvis with the order that Tony had given him – finish his education and then come back to Malibu. Easy enough, right? Only now there wasn’t a Malibu to go home to. The news had come while he was on the plane and suddenly he had understood how a computer felt to ‘freeze up’.
Awful.
Steeling himself with a deep breath, he picked up his suitcase and started through the gates. The entrance courtyard was nice, and had the potential to be a nice study area. It took his mind off of Malibu for a moment as he attempted to familiarize himself with the new surroundings. Already the sun was dipping below the horizon and he hadn't realized just how late he'd be arriving. That wouldn't do - Jarvis hated tardiness.
Stopping at the door, he looked for a doorbell, a knocker, then shrugged. He wouldn’t be rude and just barge in. Jarvis had better manners than that after all. He thought he heard his knock resound in the room beyond the door as his knuckles gave a firm few knocks.
“Hello? I’m a new arrival at this school, a transfer to say the least. I wasn’t informed of who to contact upon arriving though—“

If Viti had the ability to do that... "Hm, that'd be useful allied with someone else with the right abilities." Jarvis doesn't even look bothered by the idea of someone finding out deep, dark secrets about himself.
"An unstoppable force of information that no one would really have the ability to stop." He pulls up a stool and takes a seat to look simply watch the other."

"Yeah that's what I said! But nobody would listen! It's driving me fucking nuts!"
Viti sat down with a sigh. He took another second to think.
"Maybe you'll have better luck talking to the higher ups. And maybe the other students would help you if you tell them you have the power to access porn sites." Viti smiled lightly, but it faded as he realized maybe that joke was in poor taste.

Obviously the other had some sort of pent up frustration over the powers ordeal. While Viti took that moment to think, Jarvis took the moment to recover. The porn remark gets a slight smirk back.
"I'd rather not get on the wrong side of the establishment by giving others access to things they're underage for. It would be amusing though." Maybe they should try a different topic of conversation not related to powers.

"I'm presuming that the student body is rather small here. Town seems a bit far for walking distance, or I presume it is. Curfews here? Rules in general?"
no subject
"Rules huh...Well...you're not allowed to attack people. I found that out the hard way. Also there's some website you can't go on, and uhhhh...Oh yeah were' not allowed in the danger room without staff members, and oh ya, no swearing at the faculty."

Danger room?
"Danger room? What is considered a 'danger room' here?" In all his years of education, Jarvis is pretty sure that no other campus has had need for a 'danger room'. "The other things seem pretty standard though."
He was just currently stuck on 'danger room'.

why is 'curriculum' a hard word to spell omg
"Ah, I don't think I'll have much need to go there. I'm not a fighter and my ability doesn't do much in regards of fighting either. Hopefully going there isn't a requirement in the curriculum."
Oh please tell him that's not required. That might be the only failing grade he ever gets.
not sure. It is a mess of a word.
Viti pushed his seat back as he rose up.
"...If you'll excuse me, I have to write some poems for my literature class. If you want to get the dorms the quickest way is back to that front door. It was good talking with you though. I'm sure we will see each other again."
Mrrrr, I'm sorry about the wait, even if this thread is wrapping up XD
Jarvis watches Viti get up with interest, thoughts still moving around the danger room. "Ah, sorry to keep you then. I believe I can find my way back to the front door. I suppose if I need any help, I'll reach out to find someone that can help me."
He went over to gather his belongings. "Until next time then."
