...Mind you Sam will stubbornly go right ahead and do the exact same thing, stuffing the remainder of his sandwich into his mouth and downing half his milk. ]

[He's not doing it because you told him! He's doing it because he burns through the calories. HE'S ALREADY BIG AND STRONG ENOUGH.

He glares at Sam, but he doesn't move or tell him to go away, so at least he is grudgingly accepting his presence.

Truthfully, he is a little lonely.]

[ Only not really. He's huffy and frustrated and not sure where exactly they stand but he's not going to give up on the friends thing nor is he going to give up on SHOWING EREN THE HEALING POWER OF LOVE and netflix.

He just needs to figure out a way of doing it which doesn't involve shoving Eren's head into the couch cushions. Because as APPEALING AS IT SOUNDS RIGHT NOW he's pretty sure it won't help. ]

[Eren continues to eat his food, still glaring at Sam, because he's not sure what to make of him at all. He seems friendly, but how can he really trust a mutant? Sam's power really is useful. So it would probably be strategic to make friends with him, but EREN CAN'T MAKE A FRIEND FOR STRATEGIC REASONS, THAT WOULDN'T BE RIGHT.

AND HE DOESN'T LOVE SAM.

He eats more of his rice dish, then huffs. He's not great at small talk.]

[ HE TOTALLY LOVES HIM AND HE SHOULD MAKE FRIENDS WITH HIM BECAUSE HE'S KIND AND AWESOME.

...They're probably going to wind up eating in grumpy silence for a while huh. How big are your portion sizes Eren and how fast are you eating. ]

[WHY IS THIS HAPPENING, THIS IS NOT WHAT HE HAD PLANNED.

But he is eating large amounts quickly and had already started before Sam arrived, so it's not long before he's done... and eying Sam warily again. Because he's probably going to get up to go soon, and then what is Sam going to do? He just doesn't know.]

[ Sam is going to...well. He probably has class or something, but he's not really worried about that right now. He's more incredulous over Eren eating (since he's arrived) at least twice as much as him, in half as much time. He doesn't have a bird's stomach or anything but even he thinks that was a lot, fast.

At least he has a healthy appetite???? ]

...D'you always eat that fast.

[He didn't have to, before his powers awakened, but now his metabolism is faster than ever, thanks for asking! He frowns.]

[It's not the eating, it's the gross mutation! And he's not a beanpole, he works out every day.]

Alright, alright...sorry... [ Mumble mumble. He didn't think it would be such a big idea! Maybe Eren was just a healthy young boy with a voracious appetite. ]
