The entire campus is decorated for the holidays in red greens and silvers. It seems just about every major winter holiday is represented in some way. In the main lobby, there's an absolutely gigantic tree done up in a brilliant light display, with Emma Frost's touch added to the star. She's probably off somewhere enjoying a spot of cocoa with her old comrades, even. But really this wasn't so much for the Institute itself, but for all of its students. The ones that had no other home to return to....

I play piano more than sing, usually. [Shindou hefts a small, somewhat bashful shrug.]

I just haven't had much time for it lately, with everything else.

[Which is to say, he's only been practicing when he truly needs the stress relief it provides. That's kind of a depressing thought, actually...]

Oh, I'm not much of a musician. I mean, Mum insisted on teaching me piano, but my real passion, performing arts wise, is, well...

[Shindou knows what those are, obviously, and by now he's had a chance to see Bridget with his weaponized yo-yo a small handful of times. But it's not something he's ever heard of talked about as an "art" before?

Oh there's lots of theatrical things you can do! I once saw a bloke on Got Talent do some amazing stuff, even without mutant powers!

I've never seen anything like that. Not that I can remember, anyway.

[He shrugs because he's still not quite sure what to make of the idea. But under the circumstances it doesn't seem fair to judge out of hand -- this is a guy who can stop a yo-yo in midair on a whim, if he wants to. That's pretty cool.]
