[OPEN] A guaranteed personality

WHO: Souji, anyone who agreed to go shopping with him, and anyone else who wants to tag along.
WHAT: You know in high school movies / chick flicks when there's this awesome empowering shopping montage where everyone is laughing all the time and no one isn't fabulous?
This probably isn't going to be like that, let's be real.
WHERE: New York, I'm guessing. No, they didn't take the jet there, sorry.
WHEN: Saturday, 13/9
WARNING(S): This is a company consisting of a man who used to eat people, a woman with a PhD in Sexual Innuendo, a teacher who still has romantic feelings about someone who is technically a high school student, a high school student suffering from mutation-induced violent tendencies, and a rape survivor with PTSD. So, probably yes. Only Bridget isn't a walking CW/TW in and of himself, but people's reactions to him might warrant it.
Will add more specific things if required.

"Where... did you even find that?" Bridget was completely flabbergasted. He had seen pictures of jackets like that. He'd heard rumors of their existence. But to be presented with one in real life...

Souji blinks, and actually has to follow Bridget's gaze to figure out which garment he means. "Oh, that! I found it over there, in the Retro Corner." He hesitates just a little bit, putting back the shirt he's been looking at. "Retro is good, right?" Bless this child...

"To an extent. I don't think that really passed even in its own time... Here, lemme pick something out for you." Bridget gestured to the jacket, aiming to put it back on the rack and out of their minds forever.

"I have a feeling that means you don't like it very much, right?" Souji manages a childish pout for a couple of seconds before laughing and shrugging, handing Bridget the apparently offensive piece of clothing. It's not like he's in any way personally invested in it. "I'm afraid I don't really know much about clothes. I usually just try to find clothes I like that don't get in the way much - then again, I usually steal the clothes in the first place, so I suppose that means I haven't been very choosy."

"If we're doing retro, we're gonna do it right. I bet something rockabilly style could suit you..." Bridget had a glimmer in his eye.

"That has something to do with the 50's, right?" Souji demands, but then shrugs with a small smile. "Though I don't really know more than that. If you think it would work, though..." Yes, he's basically giving Bridget free reins on this. Why not? Bridget seems like such a nice, friendly girl after all.

...well, two out of three right isn't too shabby?

"Well, I have to think of what in that realm would work without cutting your hair. Which I should add is way way too pretty to alter as it is. Gotta get creative..."

Souji's hand flies to his hair, his eyes widening slightly, and for a moment he's either too shocked and too flustered to speak, or a little bit of both. It's not that he's a complete stranger to compliments, but rather that he's not used to the kind that are far too spontaneous to have some kind of ulterior motive to them. "I- Thank you, that's very kind of you. I could say the same, really." He reaches out, looking barely conscious that he's doing it, and lifts a tress of Bridget's hair between his fingers, momentary awkwardness melting into a smile. "And I suppose I will have to trust you, since you seem to know what you're doing."

Bridget gave a sweet smile, blushing a bit himself.

"Welp, let's hit the rack. I'll pick you out at least a shirt and some trousers, and we'll see how it works out for you..." Bridget started poking through them, humming to himself.
