-... Oof. It wasn't so much what he said, but the belief he carried in his words that hit her the hardest. Because it was true, she absolutely feared what other people might think of her. And it was almost such a great fear that she froze right there, unable to move or speak for a moment, but...

She couldn't hide it from him. He'd find out eventually. She needed to be honest... and pray he wouldn't hate her.-

What else were you supposed to do, let them hurt you? They shouldn't have been attacking kids! I told you, that's self-defense, and it's protected by the law of our country!

I don't know... I know I'm not in trouble with the law, but... -The guilt was apparent. But there was something else there, too. She had regret over killing those men... but the anger that had inspired her to kill was still there, still lingering and burning inside of her.-
