He couldn't effectively protest being shifted around like a sack so he didn't.

FFS Liir, quit apologizing.

"You, shut up, rest." Zancrow told Liir as he shifted the older boys weight into a comfortable position. He wasn't particularly loyal to Liir either, but Renko must have seen something in him, and that was enough for Zancrow. For now.

"What's his secondary power?" he asked Kaede.

Kaede kept walking next to Xancrow like she was still carrying Liir, steps more even now. The vector holding the folded up note tucked it into one of Liir's pockets as they moved.

"He'll see things you remember if he gets your hair stuck to him."

Her explanation was much more brief than Liir's own had been. She wasn't too worried, though...well, maybe a little. Kaede tended to shed absolutely everywhere all the time, but he'd never confronted her about anything in her memories before. Hopefully it would stay that way.

Her memories weren't nice ones to have.

Frowning, Zancrow looked over his shoulder at Liir, and sighs in relief when he sees the other boy is asleep.

"Well, looks like we don't have to worry about that right now." He looked over to Kaede. "Which way to the infrimary? I haven't been there yet."

"Turn left up here. It's not far." The last time she'd been this way it was for another dose of painkillers for bruised ribs. The memory made her scowl.

Turning around the corner, Zancrow spotted the infirmary and made a bee line for it. Once inside he set Liir down on the nearest bed and looked around for a nurse.

"We should be tested or whatever." He frowned down at Liir. "Whatever he's got doesn't look fun."
