Club Week! [OPEN]

WHAT: Club Week is underway, and now we have booths set up for people to really recruit and get their ideas out there. Several NPC clubs have been set up as well. Plus, once again, if you want to get in on some X-Men team building, now's a great time for it.

It's about halfway into the second week of school. People are already starting to form friendships, build social circles, and embrace student life on the Xavier campus. The faculty has set up several booths in the foyer after normal classes on Wednesday in order for students to centralize recruiting for their various interest groups. Some familiar names pop up, of course. "Anime Club", "Chess Club", "AV Club", "Soccer Club", "Glee Club", "GSA Club", "Bible Study Club" and others. It's a pretty inclusive school, after all, so why not have a broad representation of interests?

As classes let out, students are encouraged to look around, get involved, and otherwise put forth the foundation of their social lives for the school year. And of course, there's always people looking to put together teams for other purposes, too...

What on Earth would I sponsor? A club on disposing of corpses? Firearm usage? 'ow to seduce your target and garrott them with your stockings? I think not. [She snorts at that and shakes her head.]

[Squints in memory... and slowly answers:] I think I might 'ave used one to stab a target through the ear once.

[Shrugging she glances around at the students.] Per'aps I should look more into cooking.

[She's feminine, sure, but she's hardly ever struck him as domestic.]

I've lived on my own for most of my life. Cooking is an essential skill to pick up, especially when you refuse to eat tasteless slop.

Hm. True enough.

[He's not much of a cook, but is decent enough at making a few things he likes.]

Besides, sometimes it was much easier to poison a target than to simply stab them through the 'eart. [Le shrug.]

[Oddly enough, that got a little smile out of him. Xavier had tempered much of his own violent instinct, but he was still given to a fairly brutal brand of pragmatism.]

Less cleanup, too.

For me at least. [Some of the nastier poisons had the side-effect of having the victims defecate on death after all.]

Always. [Wink wonk.] Per'aps I'll consider taking up cooking as a new 'obby, in any case. If any of my dishes smell particularly offensive, I can 'ide the results in some unsavory person's room to let them suffer.
