What does he even mean by "third species," though? If he's just talking about the whole planet being mutants, how's that make a third?

God, who even knows? I guess like, humans, mutants, human-to-mutant people? It's been kind of a while since I read his book, and like, a lot of it was boring or just kinda creepy, so I might have skimmed a bit.

It was mostly just, like, utopian BS, so it was kinda hard to follow. All, like, on about the ~glorious future~ and becoming something greater in the future and junk.

Actually, now I kinda wonder why I wasn't more creeped out earlier...
