WHAT: Sublime's U-Men attack the school. They're aiming for the sublevels. Stop them at all costs!
WHERE: Throughout campus
WHEN: Past midnight, Wednesday-Thursday
WARNING(S): Gonna get violent.


The time was now. The media attention over his followers actions was too much. And after all, Xavier's little henchmen in London had figured it out. He was sure of it. There was no more time to bide. No more room for hesitation. It was act now, or the revolution would end in a prison cell, festering away in the disgusting care of this unclean world. Sublime couldn't stomach it. Couldn't fathom it. And whatever god help those who stood in the way of him and his dream of Homo Perfectus.

"All units are in place," Sublime whispered, peering out over the immaculate green, covered in moonlight, staring a drilling, piercing hole into the mansion. "Martha... it's your turn now," another whisper, as the floating apparatus before him, holding a strange glowing orb, began to shine even more brightly.

Just like that, the security systems failed. And just like that, Charles Xavier gasped and sent out a short, psychic burst to all X-Men, perhaps to everyone in the school, before he was overwhelmed and silenced, collapsing from his bed to the floor, stunned into sleep by a psychic force even he was not prepared for.

"This is it, Martha... our dream... U-Men! Bring me the Ashes of the Phoenix!" And like that, dozens of the men from the blurred video that Glamour and Spy had managed to obtain swarmed the ground, organic and mechanical, using a plethora of stolen mutant powers, attacked.

Their ultimate goal is the filed away genetic samples of Jean Grey in the sublevels. They must be stopped, before someone uses them to integrate Jean's powers into a U-Man. ]]

She's nabbed by a teacher but thankfully by one who really doesn't care if she decides to head out. Sure, students needs more experience but he's still one to believe that if they think they can handle it, they can do what they need to do for themselves.

That said, wandering the halls without a shirt and only wearing pajama pants and his sheathed sword wasn't exactly inspiring. But he wasn't in too much of a hurry. Finding the enemy was always half the battle.

"You should be using the buddy system if you are going to run around, no?"

She wasn't sneaky enough. She would have to get better about that.

"I didn't think I had the time to go out and recruit someone to join me, it seemed more important to go to the source and see what was going on," she smiled as if this was just a simple outing, and not an incredibly bold attack.

"Bravery, I will give you. Brains, I will not. Still...."

He didn't stop walking towards the way outside. She's free to follow along....and that's probably the smart idea.

"I feel a bit insulted by that," she followed him, she knew a good opportunity when it arose. After all she wasn't actually a combatant, so she really did need someone who could fight well.

"Good, perhaps you will have learned something!" Rude as hell but said completely with a smile. Then again, students are pretty much targets for taunting. Especially students making poor life decisions.

"Learned I should invest more time into stealth abilities," as if she didn't know things. "And I wasn't making poor life decisions." She could hear him just thinking that.

"If I might say so, you absolutely are. After all, what would you plan on doing if you confronted the enemy?"

He wasn't as phased as much as he should be by the pseudo-mind reading here as he should have been. Or he simply just didn't get surprised after being around mutants for a while.

"It would depend on the weaknesses of the enemy that I ended up unfortunately confronting," which probably sounded like a lacking plan. But then her plan was to not be caught by anyone and that had already backfired.

"I'm more of a strategist than a physical combatant."

"Then you would hope to rely on luck and skill, hm?" A dangerous combination.

"Not luck, simply skill. It's also useful when you know what someone is about to do before they do."

"Luck in that you hope it is someone you cannot handle. And no, luck is not a skill." Just to cut off that line of thought before it happens.

"I have never run across a person I couldn't handle," which was true, which would also make that inevitable situation all the harder to deal with.

"Is that so? Perhaps you have prove that to me and I will simply stand to the side." He answered that with crossed arms and waited for her to take the lead. No, it wasn't sarcasm. Just a sense of wanting to see her prove her own convictions.

She shrugged, he was a pretty straight forward and interesting guy. Probably not the best tactic with students though. She didn't stop though, she took the lead without hesitation. "Very well, if that's what you want to do."

"It is. Actions speak louder than words, even if you have a safety net at the moment."

About as safe as one could feel with an over-sized katana and gun sheath at their back.

"I agree, if you can't back of up your words, no one will ever take you seriously. It also meals you can't be trusted," him being there id reassure her, but she would have probably done the same regardless. Unwavering confidence was something like a shield to her, hesitating would bring nothing but misfortune.
