For all of the newcomers, welcome to Professor Xavier’s Institute of Higher Learning! For all of our returning students and staff, welcome back! Once Professor Xavier’s welcome speech wraps up, it’s time for everyone to get themselves situated in their dorms and, more importantly, get to know your fellow mutants! Even if you’re not sharing rooms, you’ll still be sharing the same campus with each other, so don’t be afraid to get used to all of those new faces! Or even catch up on old ones! You have options; don’t be afraid to use them.

He makes a little face. Not going out with guys he thinks are losers would mean really conspicuously not going out with anyone, and like, that would look like giving up, wouldn't it?

"Then why haven't you done it, doofus."

Waiting isn't giving up, its waiting.

God, he wishes he were talking about anything but this.

"Oh, you know -- like, they say someone's out there for everyone, you just have to keep looking, right?"

"If it's that narrow odds, I probably missed them during my little nap. And now their dating me would be illegal."

"What, like there are no guys your age now? Maybe you didn't meet them before because they used to be too young!"

"It'll be very hard to meet boys while I'm out with friends if all my friends are five years older than me so I can't go into clubs with them."

Nothing but practical.

"So we'll take you out to stuff besides clubs! Like, I heard there's a pretty rad music festival coming up soonish. And we'll always have the mall, right?"

Feliks might be 5 years older now, but he doesn't look it, isn't a teacher, and is blond enough to pass for her relative anyway.
