For all of the newcomers, welcome to Professor Xavier’s Institute of Higher Learning! For all of our returning students and staff, welcome back! Once Professor Xavier’s welcome speech wraps up, it’s time for everyone to get themselves situated in their dorms and, more importantly, get to know your fellow mutants! Even if you’re not sharing rooms, you’ll still be sharing the same campus with each other, so don’t be afraid to get used to all of those new faces! Or even catch up on old ones! You have options; don’t be afraid to use them.

[[ ooc: This is the general mingling post for all of our characters to get settled into their rooms, get to know each other, reminisce with old friends, all that jazz. The log will be split into multiple locations. ]]

Flandre made...half of a sneezing noise in response! And her wings bristled up partway before remembering that she heard words that were connected to a voice and she knew that voice.

"Marisa!"

And now she actually turns around to look.

"Is this where you've gotten off to, then." She's smiling, though, so it didn't seem to be a serious offense.

And there is Marisa, Leaning on the back of the couch with her normal grin and a bucket hat on her head. Her hunch was right although she was ready to leap back if need be.

"Hey, the school wouldn't be the same without me around ya know? They asked me ta be a X-man and then asked if I'd like ta take some collage courses. I mean why not?"

"It might have more doors," Flandre teased, though she was distantly reminded of her sister's opinion of that particular incident.

"You're growing up so fast, Marisa," and again, though a bit more subdued this time. The reminder of the years that had blinked by just like that was still unpleasant.

"Nah...Someone else would get the idea. 'Sides, I'm banned from that on threats of getting my butt handed ta me left and right." It's obvious she didn't mind getting teased about that. Either way, Marisa figured she'd never live it down. "That and I don't think anyone who helped me with that came back."

"Eh, not too much. Before long everyone will be taller and I'll have ta look up at them again. But even then, even with the years goin' by..Not all that much has changed."

...okay no she had to make one more amused comment. "Maybe we should get you a box. Or should I carry you?"

Flandre had given up on sitting down anywhere without Marisa poking at her head, though, so she stood instead, flexing her wings a bit as she stretched.

At that Marisa just sticks her tongue out like the mature adult she is. "If ya can find a box small enough ta fit me."

She still leans against the back of the couch with a grin, "Are ya ready ta get back ta everythin'? Because ya know before long it'll be trainnin' until we are back in ta team shape..although down a few."

"Of course I am! Though I...sort of noticed. I've only seen you and Reimu here."

There was that reminder of the time gap again. One of Flandre's wingtips fidgeted back into place.

This was going to take a LOOOOOT of getting used to. Marisa frowns a bit and sighs.

"Yeah...Maybe they'll come back or wake up or whatever. I can't even remember who did what anymore. Look at it this way, some people givin' ya a hassel who are 'your age', ya can always tell them that you are older due to the stasis!"

And welcome back to Marisa Logic 101, the logic that make little sense.

"Heck, if we can get back up ta snuff it might be easier ta grow as a team with newbies."

It was a logic that made Flandre tilt her head to the side as usual. But--people already thought Flandre was older than she was (even older than her sister!) and...was this worth mentioning?

...probably not.

"Do you think so?"

"Of course. When we know how it all works, won't take that much to add another person in ta the mix."

Or at least so the X-man hoped. If not, she'd eat ehr hat at this point. Last time she opened her mouth...But that was 5 years ago.

"Besides, I'm sure things won't be as bad as last time. Except homework. I'm sure that will be just as bad, if not worse then before."

"My sister is a teacher now, you know." Flandre's wings fluttered in amusement.

"Try not to pester her too much if you get a class with her?" A probably futile hope, but.

A slight groan. 'Please tell me it's the Middle or High school classes. Last thing I need is for her ta have me in class. I doubt it'd end well."

Well...if only because Marisa can't leave well enough alone..."I'll try not ta. I mean, at least not for a while."
