For all of the newcomers, welcome to Professor Xavier’s Institute of Higher Learning! For all of our returning students and staff, welcome back! Once Professor Xavier’s welcome speech wraps up, it’s time for everyone to get themselves situated in their dorms and, more importantly, get to know your fellow mutants! Even if you’re not sharing rooms, you’ll still be sharing the same campus with each other, so don’t be afraid to get used to all of those new faces! Or even catch up on old ones! You have options; don’t be afraid to use them.

[She gives the green-haired girl an awkward smile. Is that dyed? That has to be dyed.]

The room doesn't look its best right now. I am sorry.

It's always like that while you're getting settled in so I can't fault you for anything. Do you need any help?

[frigokinetic]

Well...

[She looks over at the bed. This is so embarrassing.]

Would you help me with putting on the sheets? [She leaves it at that, because like Hell is Elsa going to admit she doesn't know how to make her own bed. That's just part of being royalty. There are servants for that kind of thing.]

That's probably pretty embarrassing to ask, isn't it? Well, I don't have any problems helping you out!

[It sounded like an invitation to come in, at least. So Palutena steps in and heads over to the bed.]

What colors did you pick out?

[frigokinetic]

It... it is, yes.

[She giggles nervously. Still, this green-haired girl doesn't seem bad, and Elsa is admittedly relieved that she's so open to helping out -- so she leaves her books unfinished and goes to fetch the sheets.]

[Colour. Uh, colours. What do they call that in English?] ...Purple, mostly.

[Indeed, all of her sheets, blankets, and pillowcases seem to be in coordinating tones of lilac, purple, pink, and red.]

The color of royalty, how nice.

[Palutena takes the smaller sheet and shakes it out to get rid of any wrinkles.]

Purple was pretty hard dye color to get ahold of back in the ancient days of my country, which was why it was reserved for nobility.

Well, I did not pick it for that reason, but yes.

[She likes warm colours.]

You are from... Greece?

[Working on stretching out the sheets and getting it all put on the bed properly!]

That's right. I come from Athens.

[frigokinetic]

I've always wanted to visit there.

Your mythology and architecture are very interesting.

[Because obviously she's read a fair bit about Every Country Ever, but didn't get to go there.]

To be honest, I never really got to see much, outside of what I could see from my windows. So if you're jealous or anything, there's no need to be.

Ah.

...Well, I couldn't tell you about my country either, except for what I've read and heard.

Really? That means we already have a lot in common.

[frigokinetic]

Yes, we do.

What is your name? I am Elsa.

[knowitallgoddess]

Palutena. It's a pleasure to meet you Elsa.

...and make your bed.

[Said with a smile, just to let her know she's teasing.]

My bed is honoured.

[She tries to sound cool and wryly amused, but it wobbles a little bit because what is humour.]

As it should be! It's not every day an expert graces it with sheets.

[Awful.]

So what do you do for fun?

[frigokinetic]

I read.

[She goes on to list... nothing else, she realizes with dull horror. She reads. That's the only thing she does. Think of something. Think of something--]

...I also like making ice sculptures.

Hopefully the weather will let you do that around here. You don't play video games at all?

[frigokinetic]

Oh, I... don't have to wait for winter.

[She laughs nervously.]

And no, I do not. My parents never let me.

[knowitallgoddess]

[All other thoughts are tossed out the window.]

Would you like to? I have most of my systems with me here.

...I wouldn't be very good...

[This is all so sudden!]

No one is good at things when they first start. So it's perfectly okay.

[frigokinetic]

Alright.

[She takes a pair of silk gloves from the table. If there are controllers, as she suspects, she'll most likely need them.]

Lead the way.

[Palutena leads the way up to her room but there's a pretty important question to ask!]

You said you liked books. What kinds do you enjoy the most?

[frigokinetic]

...Fantasy. Faerie tales, sometimes.
