For all of the newcomers, welcome to Professor Xavier’s Institute of Higher Learning! For all of our returning students and staff, welcome back! Once Professor Xavier’s welcome speech wraps up, it’s time for everyone to get themselves situated in their dorms and, more importantly, get to know your fellow mutants! Even if you’re not sharing rooms, you’ll still be sharing the same campus with each other, so don’t be afraid to get used to all of those new faces! Or even catch up on old ones! You have options; don’t be afraid to use them.

And you are right. I find myself needing another cookie.

You're welcome to have as many as you want. But so you know, I've used Power of Generosity to make sure no one can leave without saying 'thank you'.

An unneeded expenditure of power. Only the truly evil would not thank you before leaving. And in that case, your power may very well have not been enough.

It makes me glad to hear that you're a perfectly good person.

I am a knight. [The simple statement was said with a shrug.]

Which basically comes out to meaning the same thing.

[That actually got Arturia's expression to turn sour. Such stupidity, chivalry was, being spoken of in reverent terms without realizing the reality of how it had no place in the world anymore. And yet, it was an intricate part of who she was. She hated it.]

That would be correct.

Why the face? You know, where I'm from, this kind of thing is pretty important. Of course, my country probably has more than its fair share of honorable heroes.

And what was the fate of the majority of Greek heroes?

[Aside from Perseus, none of them received good endings. Heroes they may have been, but tragedy was their lives. Some of them even went insane.]

I see what you're trying to say but if that's the lesson you took from it, you definitely took the wrong one.

It was an observation.

The thing is, you're taught that no matter the outcome, as long as you did your best, your soul is unconquerable. Like King Leonidas, despite knowing that you'll die, you can still face your death roaring in defiance of fate itself.

A hero fights with everything they have. That is what makes them a hero.

I hope to someday be like that. My parents always called me a goddess but there's a lot to live up to with that. That and Greek Gods weren't always nice people.

[That got a snort.] The Greek Gods were far from nice.

It means I'm going to be treading new ground!

I thought you wanted to be a hero, not a god.

I could always have lofty goals and go for both?

Was that meant to be a question?

I'm still a teenager so questions are allowed. I haven't even decided what I want to do in college yet.

You have a year to do so, correct? [She's pretty sure Palutena was a senior like her.] I will not be attending college.

A year, yes. What do you plan on doing after school?

I shall be an X-Man. [Or dead. That was a possibility, too.]

I'd like to do that and go to college. If I'm good enough at my studies, I don't see why I can't do both.

Given that you are not suited for solo missions, you should have time for both.
